“Aahhh! My tooth hurts!”is the ever so commonly heard statement. Tooth pain is usually the result of irritation to the nerve and blood vessels and surroundings of the tooth.

1. Gum Pain

If it's paining near your gums then there is a possibility that you injured your gums while eating food,or a certain part of food is stuck in between the teeth.For example: while eating fish, nuts and some small bone pieces can cause pain. Another cause is the presence of deposits or tartar on the teeth and gums. These deposits irritate the gums and cause inflammation of the gums.
